She is a self-taught fiber artist, stitcher, writer, and teacher who has a weakness for lots of color and anything floral. Her creative journey began when, as a child, she would explore the local fabric shops and craft stores with her mother. She developed a love for fiber arts, and as an adult, hand embroidering printed fabrics became a favorite hobby. That hobby soon became an Instagram feed (@wildboho) and then turned into several books.
She teaches Boho-embroidery workshops and shares her adventures in the world of stitchery online.
Needles Out in her bestselling embroidery series, and the first to feature mixed-media techniques. With more than 100 illustrations and 50 photographs, this highly illustrated hardcover book will reestablish the techniques discussed in Nichole’s previous books and lay a foundation for four new ones: beading/embellishing, stumpwork, fabric painting, and needle felting. Each technique will have three projects, so readers can continue to deepen their embroidery skills.
