From her background as a curator of the exhibition “Quilts Uncovered: Treasures from Genesee
Country Village and Museum”, “Paralax Views” and “Quilts 20/20” Pat Pauly gives an expansive look
at the long history of quilt making, and its change and rebirth in the twenty-first century in art quilts. Presenting over 400 images in the span of an hour, she takes a fast-paced look at the craft that has
endured in America for nearly 250 years. Hold on to your seats.
Village of Whimsey - Nichole Vogelsinger

Join Nichole for a fun and imaginative 2-hour crafting adventure as she teaches you how to design a
one-of-a-kind whimsical felt village filled with color, texture and personality. You'll learn to how to
prepare your canvas background with fabric, attach and stitch the houses and then embellish them
with a variety of hand embroidery techniques.
There is a required kit for this class payable directly to your instructor - $12.00. Limit 24
What's in your bag? with Elissa Ziccardi

Join Elissa as she discusses and demonstrates everything from interfacing and stabilizers, to zippers, hardware,
bag bases including cotton, vinyl, and cork, as well as her must have tools. She will cover the basics that go into beautifully constructed bags of all sizes, including those designed for sewing storage
and organization, to travel and everyday bags that are both functional and fashionable. Elissa will share
her own bags with you and the inspiration behind each, including how she thinks outside of the box for special finishing details including ribbons and trims, quilted bag construction, and foundation paper
pieced detailing to serve as inspiration and get you started on your own path in bag making.
