Irene Roderick

Irene is trained as a painter and has always been interested in pattern and color and how these elements can evoke emotional responses. She learned to quilt and accidentally discovered improvisational quilting... an intuitive, spontaneous process she calls "dancing with the wall". Through this act of making, Irene learned to embrace the joy of creative intuition, and a blind trust in the process. Her approach invites you to tap into your imagination and ingenuity in order to create a one-of-a-kind quilt in your own creative voice.

Stacey Coffee

Stacey has had an emotional attachment to fabric for as long as she can remember, but never fell in love with traditional quilting. Once enough blocks were completed to see what the finished project would look like... she lost all interest. As a textile college artist, it's a continuous adventure until the very last stitch. She loves to introduce her students to a variety of techniques as they create their own unique piece of textile art. Stacey has a passion for being in the classroom whether it's teaching or learning. She typically has paint in her hair, soil under her nails and scraps of fabric pretty much everywhere.
